Using Game DVR, you are able to record the gameplay. As needed, you may also use the Game DVR to record your screen. Automatically, GameDVR stores all of the recordings in the C drive. Depending on the recording resolution and length, the C drive space can fill pretty quickly. To cope with this, you are able to change game DVR capture folder location in Windows 10. Allow me to show you how.
That said, for reasons uknown, in the Settings app the Game DVR page has no choice to alter the folder location. However, you can indirectly alter the game DVR capture folder location by moving this folder to the drive or partition you want. This is very similar to moving the Download folder. The good thing is, moving the folder is fairly simple and straightforward. Moreover, should you ever need, you can restore the default location too.
Change Game DVR Capture Folder Place to Save Space
1. First, open the file explorer.
2. Go to the drive where you would like to save the sport DVR files. Now, produce a new folder using the name Captures. This is the folder we will use as the new Game DVR folder.
3. Next, go to the current game DVR captures folder. It is situated in C:\Users\Username\Videos\. Be sure to replace Username together with your actual Windows 10 username.
4. Now, right-click on the Captures folder and select the Properties option. This is when you will find all of the relevant choices to manage, share, secure, and move a folder.
5. Since you want to change the Game DVR folder location, visit the Location tab. Here, click the Move button.
6. The above action will open the folder selection window. Go the drive or folder where you've created the new Captures folder, select it and then click the Select Folder button.
7. In the main properties window, click the Apply and Ok buttons to save changes.
8. You will notice an information prompt asking whether you'd like to move all the files from the old location to the brand new location. I recommend you to press the Yes button. This way, you will not miss any files and don't suffer from manually moving the files from old to the new location.
9. That's it. You're done changing the sport DVR folder location. If you open the Settings app and go to Gaming -> Captures, you will see the brand new folder location in the right panel. You can click the Open Folder button to spread out the Captures folder within the new location.
Restore Default Game DVR Location
In future, if you wish to revert the changes and restore the default or original location, simply open the folder properties window, go to the Location tab and click on the Restore Default button.
That is it.

As a cloud storage service, OneDrive is among the best. This is also true because of the Files-on Demand feature. However, if you are already using another cloud service like Google Drive, then you might not want to use OneDrive. In those cases, here's how to stop OneDrive sync in Windows 10. The best thing is, when you stop OneDrive sync, you don't have to uninstall OneDrive. Allow me to show you how.
Steps to prevent OneDrive Sync
It is rather simple to stop OneDrive sync. Actually, you will find a number of ways you can prevent OneDrive sync. For example, you should use the audience policy editor, you are able to unsync specific folders, you can unlink OneDrive account, and you may uninstall OneDrive. I will show all these methods. Follow the one you like.
1]. Fully Stop OneDrive Sync in Windows 10 via Group Policy
To prevent OneDrive from syncing files and folders, we are able to make use of the group policy editor. All you need to do is change just one policy. Remember that Group Policy editor is just readily available for Pro and Enterprise version users. If you are using Windows Home edition, then follow one of the other methods shown below.
1. Open the Run dialog box (Win + R), type gpedit.msc and click on the Ok button. This course of action will open the audience Policy Editor.
2. You will see a bunch of folders around the left panel. Go to the following folder.
Computer Configurations -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> OneDrive
3. Within the OneDrive folder, you will see all specific policies associated with OneDrive management. Here, find and double-click around the ?¡ãPrevent using OneDrive for file storage?¡ã policy.
4. In the policy properties window, select the Enabled radio option.
5. Click the Apply and Ok buttons to save the insurance policy changes.
6. To apply the alterations, restart Windows.
That's it. You've successfully stopped OneDrive from syncing without anyone's knowledge.
2]. Unsync Specific Folders in OneDrive
OneDrive provides you with the variety of selective sync. For instance, should you would like to sync your documents folder then you can do that by selecting just that folder within the OneDrive settings window. This way, you can unsync unnecessary folders. Allow me to demonstrate how to do it.
1. Right-click on the OneDrive icon on the taskbar, click the More button and choose Settings option. When there is no OneDrive icon, launch the application by looking it up within the start menu.
2. In the Settings window, go to the Account tab. Here, click the Choose folders button.
3. Within the proceeding window, uncheck the folders you don't wish to sync and then click the Ok button in order to save changes. For example, I don't wish to sync my Books and Ebooks folder. So, I unchecked those folders.
4. That's it. OneDrive now automatically unsyncs the folders you deselected. You will not see these folders within the OneDrive folder.
3]. Unlink OneDrive Account in Windows
You may also stop OneDrive sync by unlinking your user account in OneDrive application. You just need a few clicks and the procedure is straightforward too.
1. Right-click around the OneDrive icon around the taskbar, click the More button and choose Settings option. If there is no OneDrive icon, launch the applying by searching for it within the start menu.
2. Within the Settings window, visit the Account tab. Here, click the Unlink this PC link under the OneDrive section.
3. You will immediately visit a confirmation window. Click the Unlink Account button to carry on.
That is it. You've successfully unlinked OneDrive account in Windows 10. You've also stopped OneDrive sync.
4. Uninstall OneDrive
Finally, if you would like nothing to do with OneDrive, you are able to fully uninstall OneDrive. Unlike other options, you will find multiple methods to uninstall OneDrive. You can also reinstall OneDrive whenever needed with just a few clicks. I've already written step-by-step guides on these topics. Follow them and you should be great.
That's all.

The Microsoft Edge Dev channel has gotten a brand new update that brings it to version 82.0.446.0 and includes a series of additional features, in addition to more Fluent Design in its UI.
First of all, the new version of Microsoft Edge includes better drag and drop support for Collections, a feature that seems to be rather popular among people who installed Microsoft's new browser. Furthermore, this update features a new option for Guided Change to recommend the change to a work or school profile when content that's right for such accounts is accessed with a personal profile.
As far as the Fluent Design improvements are concerned, Microsoft has added such visual improvements in a number of key areas, such as the calendar picker and the dropdown menus on Apple's Mac platforms. Because of the migration of Microsoft Edge towards the Chromium engine, the browser is now on non-Windows platforms as well - a macOS build has already been released and a Linux version happens to be in the works.
Additional improvements
In fact in every new build, there are lots of additional changes and refinements, and you can find them all in the box after the jump.
Worth highlighting, however, are fixes for crashes experienced when playing the Surf game, syncing favorites, or simply closing the browser. There are also fixes targeted at Netflix users, as Microsoft states that in some cases, the service does not play quite happy with error D7356 on some devices.
With regards to the known issues, Microsoft Edge continues to be encountering a problem with certain security software running on Windows.
"Users of certain security software packages might find all tabs fail to load with the error STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION. The only supported method to prevent this behavior would be to uninstall that software. We're currently engaging with the developers of this software to test a possible fix, which we hope to bring to Dev and Canary soon," Microsoft says.
The brand new Dev build is available on Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, and macOS.

Judging by what's been listed on Steam, not everyone can run Doom Eternal even on the lowest settings.
On the opposite side, Doom Eternal can hit 1,000fps if you possess the right hardware. Anyway, if you are content with 60fps, much like many gamers with average PC configurations, here's what you'll need: a 64-bit processor, 64-bit Windows 10, Intel Core i7-6700K or better, or AMD Ryzen 7 1800X or better, 16 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 (8GB), RTX 2060 (8GB) or AMD Radeon RX Vega56 (8GB), and 50 GB available space.
In case your rig comes with everything of the aforementioned, you can run Doom Eternal on high-quality settings but still obtain 60fps (1440p). Yes, for ultra settings, you'll probably need some little more than what's listed above.
As far as the minimum requirements go, here's what you need to be able to play Doom Eternal: a 64-bit processor, 64-bit Windows 7/64-Bit Windows 10, Intel Core i5 @ 3.3 GHz or better, or AMD Ryzen 3 @ 3.1 GHz or better, 8 GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (4GB), GTX 1060 (6GB), GTX 1650 (4GB) or AMD Radeon R9 290 (4GB)/RX 470 (4GB), and 50 GB available space.
For those with PC configurations that meet the above requirements, Doom Eternal will run at 60fps / 1080p only if the sport is placed to low-quality settings.

Using task scheduler, you can display timely messages using pop-up windows. These popup messages are useful for convenient alerts and knowledge. Follow the below steps to know how you can display popup message in Windows 10.
In Windows 7, task scheduler has a neat feature called "Display a Message". By using this feature, you can make the task scheduler to exhibit a message utilizing a simple pop-up window.
However, starting from Windows 8, Microsoft deprecated both the "Display a Message" and "Send an Email" features. If you try to use any of the deprecated features, it'll show "The task definition uses a deprecated feature" error.
Fortunately, there's a workaround which lets you use the task scheduler to exhibit a quick message on a scheduled time or event. Without further ado, let me demonstrate how.
Show Popup Message with Task Scheduler
1. Open the task scheduler by trying to find "Task Scheduler" within the start menu.
2. In the task scheduler, click the "Create Basic Task" option appearing around the right sidebar.
3. Now, enter a brand new title and outline for the task and then click the "Next" button.
4. Here, select when the task must start. With my case, I would like the content to appear when the system starts. So, I selected "When the pc starts" option. You can select any trigger you want.
Note: With respect to the option you choose, you might need to configure additional options. For instance, if you choose the Daily option, you need to select a time to display the message.
5. After selecting a proper trigger, select "Start a program" option and click "Next". We are going to use Command Prompt/PowerShell to display the content window.
6. Within this window, fill in the blank fields as below. If you want to use the command prompt, follow the command prompt method. For PowerShell, stick to the PowerShell method.
Command Prompt:
Program/Script - msg Arguments - * Replace_With_Your_Message
Don't forget to replace "Replace_With_Your_Message" with your actual message.
Important: Don't remove * in front of the message within the Arguments field.
PowerShell:
Program/Script - powershell Argument - Go into the below command
-WindowStyle hidden -Command "& [System.Reflection.Assembly]::LoadWithPartialName('System.Windows.Forms'); [System.Windows.Forms.MessageBox]::Show('Relace_With_Your_Message','Message_Title')"
Don't forget to replace "Replace_With_Your_Message" with your actual message and "Message_Title" with a title. The title appears on the window title bar.
Click on the "Next" button to carry on.
7. Within the Summary window, click the "Finish" button to accomplish the task creation process.
8. After creating the task, we can verify it is working or not. To do that, choose the "Task Scheduler Library" option around the right panel, find the task you simply made in the center panel, right-click on it and choose "Run".
9. If everything goes properly, you should visit a popup window with your message in it.
In the future the job scheduler displays the popup message window according to your scheduled trigger. With my case, the popup window will appear as soon as I start and log into my system. If you want to, you can also delay start the job in task scheduler.
Wrapping Up
That's all. It's that simple to exhibit a popup message in Windows 10 using a built-in tool like Task Scheduler.

In the recent versions, Chrome browser is showing a Windows volume overlay. If you don't like this behavior, here's how to remove Chrome volume overlay in Windows 10.
Though many may think the Chrome integration with the default system volume overlay is good, in actuality, the volume overlay is simply too big and ugly. First and foremost, it simply shows "Chrome.exe" around the volume overlay. Additionally, the totally useless fast forward and backward buttons. Not to mention, the overlay is also displayed on the lock screen too.
To put it simply, like many others, I simply hate the big and ugly Windows 10 volume overlay and I can't stand Chrome utilizing it. So, if you are like me, stick to the below steps to remove volume overlay in Windows 10.
Remove Chrome Volume Overlay
Thankfully, it is really quite simple to remove the ugly big Chrome.exe volume overlay.
1. First, open Google Chrome browser by looking it up in the start menu or by hitting the taskbar.
2. Within the Chrome browser, enter about://flags in the address bar and press Enter.
3. The above mentioned action will open the Chrome Flags page. In the search bar, type "hardware media key handling".
4. Within the results, you will notice "Hardware Media Key Handling" flag. From the drop-down menu, select "Disabled".
5. To use the alterations, click on the "Relaunch Now" button.
Once you click on the button, Chrome will relaunch itself and you'll no longer see the abhorrent big volume overlay when Chrome is playing some media.
That is it. It's that simple to remove Chrome volume overlay in Windows 10.

For those who have multiple users and would like to operate a program or file like a different user, Windows has got the choices to do so. Stick to the below steps to operate a course like a different user in Windows 10.
Basically, there's two methods to run a program or app like a different user. Both methods are pretty simple and straightforward. If you're not familiar or comfortable with the Command Prompt, make use of the first method. It is user-friendly.
If you like using Command Prompt, the 2nd technique is very good too.
Note: You need to know both password of the user you are attempting to target.
Method #1 - Shift + Right-click
When there are multiple users, Windows gives you a special option in the context menu that allows you to run the program as any user want. Do keep in mind for this to work, you should know both username and password from the target user. Without those authentication details, the process will fail.
1. First, find the program you want to run as a different user.
2. Next, hold on the Shift key and Right-click around the EXE file. This action will open the extended context menu that contains a bunch of options that are generally not available within the normal right-click menu.
3. In the Shift + Right-click menu, select the "Run as different user" option.
4. You'll be prompted to go in the username and password of the user you want to run as. Go into the details and "Ok" button.
If the details are correct, the program will run as that user. You won't see any indication of that but be assured that this program is running as the target user. To ensure, open the Task Manager, visit the "Details" tab, find the program process and under the "User name" you will notice the prospective username.
Method #2: Command to operate Program as Different User
As an alternative, you may also make use of the Command Prompt commands to run any program as a different user. All you have to do is perform single line command and the program will run.
1. First, open the beginning menu, look for "Command Prompt" and click on the result to spread out the Command Prompt.
2. In the Command Prompt window, execute the below command. Replace "username" using the actual username from the target user and "D:\path\to\file.exe" using the actual road to the program's exe file.
runas /user:username "D:\path\to\file.exe"
3. You will be prompted to enter the password from the target user. So, type the password and press Enter.
That's all. Once you press Enter, this program will run as the specified user. Just like with the first method, you are able to verify it by exploring the Details tab within the Task Manager.
